Client Reviews
In their own words
Natnicha W.
Bangkok, Domestic Protection Matter
"I was not sure whether speaking to a lawyer would help or just make things more complicated. What I found was the opposite. The intake process was genuinely private, and I was not hurried or pushed in any particular direction. They explained what the application process would involve, what was realistic, and what I should expect at each step. That clarity made a real difference at a time when everything felt uncertain."

Prayuth T.
Bangkok, Stepparent Recognition
"The stepparent recognition process is more involved than I initially realised. There were several stages, and we needed cooperation from parties who were not entirely easy to coordinate with. The team handled all of this without drama, kept us informed throughout, and were clear when delays were out of their control. I would have found the process much more stressful without the structured guidance they provided."

Siriwat K.
Chiang Mai, Estate Coordination
"Our family had land and business arrangements that had never been formally documented — just understood between family members over the years. Khao Legal spent a lot of time in the early stages understanding what we actually had before they suggested anything. The work took around eight months, which is what they told us to expect. The result was a set of documented arrangements that everyone in the family had actually agreed to."

Apinya M.
Bangkok, Domestic Protection Matter
"I reached out without being sure what I was asking for. They were patient with that uncertainty from the beginning. The adviser explained the legal options that applied to my situation without pressing me towards any of them. When I decided to proceed, the preparation was thorough and they kept me informed at every stage. I felt the matter was in capable hands throughout."

Worapong L.
Nonthaburi, Stepparent Recognition
"The written summaries after each meeting were something I didn't expect but found very useful. Legal processes involve a lot of information and it is easy to lose track of where things stand. Having a clear record of what had been discussed and what the next steps were meant I never felt lost. The process took longer than I initially hoped, but the adviser was honest about that from the start."

Chutima P.
Bangkok, Estate Coordination
"My family's property situation had been a quiet source of tension for years because nothing was formally in place. Starting the process of addressing it properly felt daunting. Khao Legal made the initial phase — the review and identification stage — manageable by explaining things in plain language. By the end, the family had documented arrangements that we could all refer to clearly."

Case Studies
Client journeys in more detail
Case Study — Domestic Protection Order
Seeking a protection order where a prior attempt had been unsuccessful
Challenge
A client had previously attempted to navigate the protection order process independently. The application had not proceeded as she hoped, partly due to documentation issues and partly due to the procedural requirements she had not been aware of.
What We Did
We reviewed what had been submitted previously, identified the specific gaps in the documentation, and prepared a fresh application with the supporting evidence assembled in the order the court required. We accompanied the client to the relevant proceedings.
Outcome
The application proceeded and an order was granted. Timeline from instruction to order: approximately eleven weeks. The client noted that the preparation phase — where everything was documented clearly — was the part that made the most difference.
Case Study — Estate Coordination
Clarifying land and business arrangements across three generations of a family
Challenge
A family with agricultural land in the central region and a small commercial property in Bangkok had never formally documented how the assets were held. The original purchaser had passed away, and there was disagreement among family members about what had been intended.
What We Did
We conducted a thorough review of the existing title documents, previous transactions, and family arrangements. We facilitated a structured set of conversations among the family members and drafted arrangements that reflected the outcome they agreed on collectively.
Outcome
The arrangements were formally documented over approximately nine months. The family had clear, agreed documentation of who held what and on what basis. The commercial property question, which had been the primary source of tension, was resolved through a formal arrangement all parties signed.
